TECHNOLOGY

                      Biofeedback, Electro-Stimulation Technology (BEST)

  Avazzia BEST™ devices are Microcurrent, Biofeedback, Electro-Stimulation Devices cleared by the FDA for use transcutaneously for the relief of pain. The products are hand-held, battery-powered devices that apply relaxation and stimulation pulses. They are effective, portable, and economic solutions to address the healthcare concerns of today’s active population.

The Avazzia line of BEST™ medical devices incorporate 4 operating modes per device accessed by simply pressing the Mode switch. Power levels are accessed by pressing + and – switches. The device incorporates very simple, easy to see LEDs that indicate modes, and power levels.

HOW IT WORKS

  The BEST™ technology works on wave patterns. When the device is placed in contact with tissue it applies a high voltage damped sinusoidal wave form. Research has shown that such wave forms interact with the body’s natural resources to reduce pain.

1.As the BEST™ device is placed in contact with tissue, it sends a series of micro-electrical signals ( a high voltage, damped, sinusoidal wave form)  through the epidermis and dermis skin layers into underlying fascia planes and is transmitted through connective tissue to nerve fibers, principally the “A” and “C” fibers. Avazzia technology quickly provides relief of acute and chronic pain because it has the ability to communicate directly with these "A" & "C" nerve fibers.

2.The passing of the pulsed sinusoidal waveforms causes the electrical properties of the tissue to change, resulting in changes in the next applied signal. Hence Biofeedback.

3.Over time equilibrium is attained with the applied signal being further damped. Avazzia technology measures this signal 3 million times per second to recognize this condition and signal the user. 

BEST™ devices generate electrical impulses that are physiologically similar to neurological impulses observed in the  body's own “C” nerve fibers.  These fibers are embedded in tissues and consist of 85% of all the nerves found in the body and also to "fast” pain blocking "A" fibers.   BEST™ devices communicate with the neuro-endocrine system through direct touch to the skin, sending a signal through the epidermis and dermis skin layers into underlying fascia planes and is then transmitted through connective tissue to the C and A nerve fibers.

BEST™ devices actually seek decreased impedance on skin by “sticking (dramatic increase in friction) to acupuncture or electron deficient sump points when gliding the instrument over the skin. The area may comprise injured or diseased tissue or may be associated with an organ or corresponding structure with that anatomical segment. Electrons supplied by a BEST™ unit placed at the correct location on the skin are channeled by the integrated system of connective tissue within the body to the lowest electron deficiency. The normal energetic equilibrium between various tissues and organs is restored, and the redox potential of the body is recharged.

Published medical research has identified the electrical signal characteristics that affect the thin “C” fibers of the nervous system and result in the stimulation of nitric oxide, hormones, endorphins, and neuropeptides. Other publications indicate the signal characteristics and treatment locations that balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. (Sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions typically function in opposition to each other. But this opposition is better understood as complementary in nature rather than antagonistic. For an analogy, one may think of the sympathetic division as the accelerator and the parasympathetic division as the brake.)

Avazzia devices utilizing BEST™ (Biofeedback Electro Stimulation Technology) represent an entirely new generation of TENS technology that employs electrical signals targeted towards releasing of nitric oxide, endorphins, and neuropeptides into the blood stream.
